Cut

Cuts the selected objects and moves them to the clipboard.

Procedure

1. Select one or more objects on an editable layer.
2. Choose Edit > Cut.

Other ways to access Cut

• Cut button on the Standard Toolbar.
• Shortcut Key: Ctrl + X.
• Shortcut Menu: Cut (X).

Precondition

• The layer where the selected objects are must be editable.
• At least one object or layout element must be selected.
