Recompute Boundary

Recomputes boundaries of datasets as a batch.

Procedure

1. Choose Dataset > Recompute Boundary. The Recompute Boundary dialog box will display.
2. Navigate to the datasource that contains the dataset (s) you want to recompute boundary for.
3. Select the dataset (s) you want to recompute boundary for.
4. Click OK.

If recomputed successfully, the prompt "Recompute the boundary of the dataset  *** successfully!" will display in the Output Window.

Other way to access Recompute Boundary

Select the dataset you want to recompute boundary for in Workspace Manager and choose Recompute Boundary in the shortcut menu. This method can only be appled to a single dataset.

Note

Please recompute the boundary when a layer can not display correctly in an entire view even after deleting large objects which are on the layer.
