Delete Image Pyramid

Deletes the created image pyramid for a dataset.

Procedure

1. Choose Dataset>Delete Image Pyramid. The Delete Image Pyramid dialog box will display.
2. Select the datasource that stores the dataset whose image pyramid you want to delete.
3. Select the dataset whose image pyramid you want to delete in the list box.
4. Click OK.

If deleted successfully, the prompt "Delete the image pyramid of dataset *** successfully!" will display in the output window; otherwise "Fail to delete the image pyramid of dataset ***." will be display in the output window.

Other way to access Delete Image Pyramid

Select the raster dataset for which you want to delete image pyramid  in Workspace Manager, then select Delete Image Pyramid in the shortcut menu. This method can only be applied to a single dataset.
