Delete Dataset

Deletes datasets which are contained in a datasource in a batch mode.

Procedure

1. Choose Dataset > Delete Dataset. The Delete Dataset dialog box will display.
2. Navigate to the datasource that contains the datasets.
3. Select a display type for the datasets.
4. Select the datasets you want to delete in the list box.
5. Click OK.

Other ways to access Delete Dataset

To delete a single dataset

• Shortcut key: Delete.
• Click Delete Dataset on the dataset shortcut menu.

Note

A dataset cannot be retrieved after you have deleted it.

Precondition

There is at least one dataset in the current workspace.
