Text->Point

Converts a text dataset to a point dataset by creating points at the locations of texts.

Procedure

1. Choose Dataset > Convert > Text -> Point. The Text -> Point dialog box will display.
2. Select the text dataset to be converted in the Source area.
3. Select a point dataset in the Target Data area to save the generated points, or type a name for a new dataset in the Target Data area to save the generated points.
4. Click the button.
5. Select whether to get warning message or to append the converted data to the target dataset if the target dataset exists.
6. Select how to perform converting when a text object has subobjects.
7. Click OK.
