Attribute of Point -> Region

Updates the attribute of a region object with the attribute of the point in the object.

Procedure

1. Choose Dataset > Convert > Attribute of Point -> Region. The Attribute of Point -> Region dialog box will display.
2. Select the point dataset that provides attribute.
3. Select the region dataset whose attribute will be updated.
4. Type a name for the Error Info Field.
5. Click OK.

Notes

• If a region object contains only one point, the attribute of the region object will be updated using the attribute of the point, and the error info field will be assigned 1; otherwise the attribute of the object will not be updated and the value of the error info field is not 1.
