Centroid in Polygon -> Point

Command Reference

Creates a point dataset by picking up centroid of every object in a region dataset.

Procedure

  1. Choose Dataset > Convert > Centroid in Polygon -> Point. The Centroid in Polygon -> Point dialog box will display.
  2. Select the source datasource and source region dataset in the Source Data area.
  3. Select the result datasource in the Result Data area.
  4. Type a name for the result dataset.
  5. Click OK.
