Calculate Area in GCS

Calculates the actual areas of a region dataset under Geographic Coordinate System.

Procedure

1. Choose Dataset>Calculate Area in GCS. Then the Calculate BL Area dialog box will  display.
2. Select the datasource that stores the region dataset whose area will be calculated under the Geographic Coordinate System.
3. All of the region datasets of the selected datasource will be listed in the list box. And please select (by checking the checkbox before the corresponding dataset) the dataset whose area will be calculated under the Geographic Coordinate System.
4. Click OK.

Note

Only applies to region datasets under the Geographic Coordinate System.
