Add to Current Window

Adds other dataset (s) which can be from different datasources to the current window. Usually, layers generated by this way are used to make maps.

Procedure

1. Choose Dataset > Add to Current Window. The Selection dialog box will display.
2. Navigate to the datasource that contains the dataset (s) to be added to the current map window.
3. Select the dataset (s) that you want to add to current window.
4. Click OK.

Other way to access to Add to Current Window

Select a dataset in the Workspace Manager, then drag it to current map window.

Precondition

There must be an open map in the current window.
