Properties of a datasource include some basic information and projection information. To browse the properties, select the datasource in Workspace Manager or Workspace Manage Window, right click and select Properties in the shortcut menu.
1 Basic Information
Display the full directory and file name, engine type, open mode, some simple description of the datasource, and all the datasets under the datasource list in a list box. Also you can modify password for the datasource here.
2 Datasource Projection
Display coordinate system, coordinate unit, and detailed information of datasource's projection. Users can export, import, modify or transform coordinate system here.
Export: allow you to export the projection information to a XML file.
Import: allow you to import coordinate system for the datasource from another datasource or a file.
Modify: allow you to modify the parameters for the datasource's projection.
Transform: allow you to transform coordinate system for the selected datasource.
