User Interface

The illustration below shows a common user interface when you start AvisMap Deskpro 5. 

It is an environment where no file is loaded, and includes several parts as described below.

• Workspace Manager: Lies on the top left of the user interface; manages datasources, datasets, maps, 3D scenes, layouts and resources.
• Workspace Manager Window: Uses icons to display the contents in the current workspace; includes datasources, maps, 3D scenes, layouts and resources.
• Legend Manager: Lies on the bottom left of the user interface; is an assistant tool to manage the layers in the current map window.
• Work Area: Lies on the right of the user interface; occupies a large part of the screen and is the operation area when using AvisMap Deskpro 5.
• Menu Bar: Includes all operations to use AvisMap Deskpro 5. And the menus' contents will be different according to the changes of the Deskpro window.
• Toolbar: More than twenty toolbars which can be docked at the top or bottom or to the left or right side of the Deskpro windows are in the system. And it is allowed to customize toolbars for personal needs.
• Output Window: Lies above the Status Bar, and can be dragged anywhere on the screen. It is mainly used to display the prompt of different operations, or the prompt and output of the operation results.
• Status Bar: Lies at the bottom of the user interface; reflects the real-time running status of Deskpro.
