Find Dataset
Searches for the datasets which satisfy the specified conditions
in the current workspace.
Procedure
- Choose Dataset>Find Dataset. Then the Find Dataset dialog
box will display.
- Set the searching conditions which may be dataset name,
metadata, records or extent.
- Click the OK button, then the datasets which satisfy the
specified conditions will display in the Workspace Manager
Window.
Other ways to access Find Dataset
- Select the Datasource label in the Workspace Manager, and click
Find Dataset in the shortcut menu. Then the datasets which satisfy
the conditions in all of the datasources will be found.
- Select the datasource that contains the dataset you want to
find in the Workspace Manager, and click Find Dataset in the
shortcut menu. Then the datasets which satisfy the conditions only
in this datasource will be found.
Note
Searching by records is not applied to raster dataset.
