Append Rows to Dataset

Appends data that is from a dataset to the target dataset in a batch mode.

Procedure

1. Choose Dataset > Append Rows to Dataset. The Append Rows to Dataset dialog box will display.
2. Select source datasource that contains the source dataset (s).
3. Select target datasource that contains the target dataset (s).
4. Select the source dataset (s) which you want to append to another dataset, then all of its non-system fields will list in the Field of Target Dataset area.
5. Select the field (s) you want to append.
6. Select the target dataset.
7. Click Append.

Other way to access Append Rows to Dataset

In the Workspace Manager, drag a dataset to another dataset to append all of the fields of the first dataset to the second dataset.

Precondition

The operation can only be performed when the target dataset and the source dataset are or of the same type or at least one of them is CAD dataset.
